My Profile and Background I am married to a retired military officer and a mother of two, now three (my beautiful daughter-in-law) make that four if my oldest son, 34 in January, marries his lovely sweetheart. Ok, enough about my kin already. Let’s just say families are a joy and blessing to moms & dads all over the world. SRAR is located in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, providing services to REALTOR members. SRAR was founded in 1923 and currently hosts 12,322 members. The SRAR Foundation Inc. supports the charitable activities of the community. The Association provides Education for the community to increase Fair Housing awareness and the ability of all residents to achieve the American Dream of Home Ownership. SRAR provides Professional Standards training and services, Professional Education, Governmental Affairs and Community Relations. The mission of the SRAR is to serve its members by providing programs and services to enhance their ability to pursue the real estate business in a professional manner with fairness, integrity and competency; to better serve the public through cooperation of members in marketing of real property; to represent the membership in protecting their industry rights; and, through collective action, to promote the preservation of real property rights. The California Association of Realtors (CAR) hosts nearly 170,000 REALTORS® statewide. This trade organization was founded in 1905 and continually promotes the advancement of professionalism in the real estate industry. The company offers preventative legal programs with legal information, legislative advocacy program, and educational programs and seminars. In addition to these programs, C.A.R. offers its members business tools including research data and publications. The company is based in Los Angeles at 525 S. Virgil Avewith a satellite office in Sacramento. As a member of CAR I am able to assist clients with current information about all matters involving their real estate purchases and inquiries. I have access to up to the minute reports on the real estate marketplace and can encourage my clients to further review topics relating to many financial and legal issues with the assistance of a financial planner or attorney of their choice. Because of my connection to SRAR I am also affiliated with and a member of the National Association of Realtors, NAR. I have lived in many places throughout the United States and the world; Germany, Italy, Minnesota (arguably the coldest place on earth), a few southern states, including Florida, and other places both east and west of the Mississippi. I was raised in Colorado Springs, and graduated from the University of Kansas; yep that’s “Rock Chalk Jayhawk.” |
